A team that can win a difficult fight is useful, but a team that clears many fights quickly and reliably is better for leaderboard grinding. That is why special carries, fast tag rotations and gear shatter are so important.
Fast SP2 carry template
- Carry: a strong SP2 character such as Arkham Origins Batman, Ares Prime, Arkham Origins Deadshot or another reliable special finisher.
- Gear: Tantu Totem + The Master's Death Cart + a third power/utility piece.
- Support: Hawkgirl Prime for tags, Batgirl Prime/Animated Harley/Regime Green Lantern when extra power support is needed.
- Utility: a Claw of Horus user to remove Astro-Harness and other dangerous enemy gear.
Flashpoint Online team
Flashpoint Batman + Flashpoint Aquaman + Flashpoint Deathstroke remains one of the strongest archetypes because it can be built for basics, specials or hybrid damage. Community discussion still describes Flashpoint as one of the most versatile teams in the game.
Do not ignore gear shatter
Astro-Harness can turn an easy match into a slow or dangerous one. Claw of Horus is therefore one of the most valuable Online Battle gears. Multi-hit SP1 characters and Enchantress-style setups can make gear stripping even more reliable.
For defense, annoying is often better than fast
- Blackest Night Flash teams can be extremely difficult to kill cleanly.
- New 52 Shazam + Flashpoint Batman + Flashpoint Aquaman is a frustrating defensive shell seen in high-level play.
- Astro-Harness and durable tanks force attackers to spend more time and increase the chance of mistakes.
Promotion balance matters
Online Battle matchmaking is influenced by team strength, so blindly maxing every support is not always optimal for fast farming. Many experienced players deliberately keep support cards below the carry's promotion to preserve efficient matchups.
